1996 – Starshine Palace – Bluebird Toys, complete. You are cordially invited to Polly’s palace! This vibrant set includes Polly Pocket, Amber the horse, carriage, and the removable stopper/necklace. This set is in great, vintage, and played in condition with normal signs of wear from use and time. Polly stands upright but is slightly slanted. All functions work properly. Polly’s tiara lights up when her button at the bottom is pressed. The stopper on top turns to open and close the palace. The stopper also becomes a necklace that opens to carry Polly in. The left and right towers swing open. The bed folds down. The thrown turns when you spin the top. The staircase swings out. Polly’s tiara lights up when she is pressed down onto the lower floor attachments or when you press under the compact. The boat moves. The hologram sunken gardens spins around when you turn the purple gem on the lower back of the compact. The chest opens. Thank you for your time!

1996 STARSHINE PALACE 100% COMPLETE. This playset is in excellent used condition with no sun damage or damage to it at all. To open the set you turn the top (stopper) to open the set. This is a lovely playset which is shaped like a perfume bottle with stopper which can be used as a necklace as well. The set is made from a translucent plastic and is red and blue with purple hearts. Once the playset is fully opened the upper part of the playset has a translucent yellow castle with throne room, towers, bedroom, and a gold staircase leading to the lower part of the playset. The throne spins when the purple heart is turned at the top of the playset, the bedroom area of the set opens up and the bed folds down for polly to sleep at night. The lower part fo the playset has a blue floor with silver stars it looks like it could be a lake, a sea area which has the swan boat on it which can be moved. The middle of the set has a silver iridescent disc which can be turned as well. Around the sides there is 3 little area for polly to stand but as polly is placed on them she lights up. Wearing a gold crown with a jewel in the middle, she is wearing a pink ball gown, with green insert of the dress there is a bow at the back. Underneath polly there is a little button which when she is placed on the certain areas of the set pollys jewel in her crown will light up. Facial expression and clothing intact. Clear with gold wheels trim. Regarding changing the batteries in polly i do believe that when they have died you can or should be able to with a sharpe knife prise the figure apart at the join (sides) and inside there is 2x6A watch batteries once refitted polly can be pressed back together and ready to shine again according to onlypollypocket.

1996 Starshine Palace Sparkle Surprise aka Crystal Palace. EUC/NM – absolutely stunning! Beautiful bright pink colour, no sundamage that I can see, which is very common with this set, usually you see them with an orange ting (which means it’s sun/age damage). Tiny bit of logo wear. Lights work on Polly, she has a slight’bend’ mark on her arm, but her arm is not bent. I have added lots of photos, please look closely to get a better idea of the condition. PLEASE NOTE: Although I have given these items a quick wipe over, they may favour a deep clean once you receive them. I will be listing lots of Polly Pockets over the next couple of weeks until they have all gone, including Empty, Partially Complete & Complete as well as a few small bundles (possibly individual figures too). This is a super great gift for a child and an awesome addition to any collection! The Starshine Palace is a Polly Pocket playset that was released in 1996. It is shaped like a. Tall (including stopper) and. The exterior of the playset is pink in color and has a compact shape. To open the Palace, just turn the Jewel on top of the case and it will open! The interior of the playset has two levels. The upstairs level has a castle with a throne room, towers, bed, and staircase down. The downstairs level has a lake, swan boat, and treasure chest. The throne spins, towers open, bed in tower folds down, staircase swings out, treasure chest opens, lake spins, and swan boat moves around the lake. The stopper turns to “unlock” the palace, opens, and can be removed to wear as a necklace Polly fits inside. The playset comes with a Polly Pocket doll with blond hair in a ponytail with bangs, gold crown, gold earrings and necklace, magenta puffed sleeve gown, lime green underskirt, purple bow on back, and tan base. The “jewel” in the crown is red and lights up when Polly is pushed down (button on bottom of doll). Such an enjoyable toy! If the crown doesn’t light up, then Polly needs a new battery (the doll comes apart).
